MELON ANANAS
Le melon Ananas a une forme ovale et pèse en moyenne entre 3 et 5 livres (7-12 KG).
Son extérieur est recouvert d’une peau jaune à ocre avec un filet de couleur sable qui devient de plus en plus prononcé à mesure que le melon atteint son apogée de maturité. Selon la variété, sa chair intérieure peut varier d’une teinte crémeuse de blanc ou de vert à l’orange pâle.
La chair est juteuse et croquante et entoure une étroite cavité de graine. Lorsqu’il est mûr et à température ambiante, le melon Ananas aura une douce saveur de melon et un parfum mêlé de nuances d’ananas.

MELON ANANAS
The Ananas melon has an oval shape and on average weighs between 3 and 5 lbs (7-12 KG). Its exterior is covered in a yellow to tan skin with a sandy hued netting that becomes increasingly pronounced as the melon reaches its peak of ripeness. Depending upon variety, its interior flesh can vary from a creamy shade of white or green to pale orange in color. The flesh is juicy and crisp and surrounds a narrow seed cavity. When ripe and at room temperature the Ananas melon will have a sweet melon flavor and scent laced with nuances of pineapple.
